Chapter III
LECTIO MAGISTRALIS
Based on the song ,,I Wonder”, from Ye’s 3rd studio album, ,,Graduation”, this piece symbolises a letter the Creator sent to his sister on her graduation day. He praises her for her achievements,
but also pushes her to strive for more and not settle, in order to live her much desired lavish lifestyle.
The motivated individual now draws power from his own words, thinking about the vision he has for his own future. His sleepless nights, relentless work ethic and full schedule are all driven by an immense desire to be more than just average, inching him closer and closer to the goal he has set for himself.
Episode I
BLACKBERRY SUSPENCE
Based on the song ,,Strawberry Swing”, from Frank Ocean’s ,,Nostalgia, Ultra” mixtape, this piece portrays the Creator’s attempt to comprehend his mother’s difficulty to adapt to life
in her childrens’ absence.
His inner conflict stems from not having yet developed the emotional maturity to properly balance between comforting his mother and also striving twards a life of complete independence,
away from his parents.
The BMW M1 illustrates one last look the Creator’s mother takes at her favourite memories from parenthood, before storing them away in her heart and venturing into a new chapter of her own life.
Episode II
GODSPEED OCTOBER
Based upon the song ,,Real Friends”, from Kanye West’s 2016 album, ,,The Life of Pablo”, this piece highlights the introspective individual’s realization that he knows almost nothing of substance about
his friends, but that they also don’t know much about him either.
The responsabilities of adult life keep the Creator separated from the group, making it difficult for him to truly connect with his friends.
But on second thought, he recognizes that they are all facing
the same issue together.
The Land Rover Defender stands as a reminder of all the adventures that the friend group planned on having but never went through with.

CUPID MARATHON
Episode IV
Based upon the song ,,Devil in a New Dress” from Kanye West’s 2011 album, ,,My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy”, this piece expresses the Creator’s complete lack of desire to pursue romance in his
current life stage.
He finds himself conflicted by the idea of opening up his soul to a woman ever again, due to the intensity and brutality of the heartbreak he has experienced and the superficiality of modern day relationships. He also acknowledges that in order to build a healthy bond, both partners must let some of the deepest and most well guarded parts of themselves get discovered, a step which he is no longer willing to easily make.
The Ferrari Monza SP1 symbolizes the solo ride the Creator is on, in search of deeper meaning, material prosperity and spiritual cleansing.
MERCEDES NOIR
Based on the song ,,Seigfried”, from Frank Ocean’s album, ,,Blonde”, this piece captures a dialogue the Creator has with his 18 year old self, in their childhood bedroom.
He has sympathy for the purity of his past identity’s soul as he listens to him talk about his own struggles and constant feeling of inadequacy. The Creator also notices that he no longer associates with that part of himself, as he has now irreversably set foot on a new path, not planning on turning back ever again.
The Benz 300 SL signifies the promise the Creator makes to his younger self, to be his spiritual guide in times of need. He has now become the role model he didn’t realize he needed in that stage of his life.

AIRPLANE MODE
Based on the song ,,I am a God” from Kanye West’s ,,Yeezus” album, this project’s closing piece represents the driven individual’s battle with his biggest strenght and at the same time, biggest weakness: Perfectionism.
The constant praise from peers for the increasingly satisfactory results in all aspects of the Creator’s life begins to slowly fabricate a false sense of omnipotency in his soul. He struggles to fully comprehend the dangerous paradigm he finds himself in, juggling between keeping his feet firmly planted on the ground and flying up high.
The McLaren MP4-23 symbolises the constant pursuit of being the absolute best of the best, a feat that the Creator is willing to dedicate his existence to and achieve at all cost. He doesn’t just want to win.
He wants to dominate.
